We've posted a plea about 2 weeks ago to help a sweet little guy we rescued from shelter named Ojo. This sweet little puppy came to us pretty banged up from head to toe. His mouth could not close, due to his jaw being out of place, and his leg at the time we got him seemed to be a source of pain for the sweet little guy.
Two weeks ago, he went in for surgery for his leg and mouth, but the Doctor who preformed the surgery was hopeful at the time that Ojo may not need it on his leg, because Ojo was putting weight on it, and he showed that he was getting stronger. Instead the good doctor fixed his mouth so at least Ojo can close his mouth and breathe through his nose.
We just found out today that Ojo will have to go in for surgery this Friday for his leg, with the activity restriction,*(as you can see in his pictures and video that he's not a dog that can have a lot of activity so he is camped out on the couch a lot!) and rest, the past few weeks, Ojo's leg has NOT gotten better.
He is in pain and it's showing that he can't really walk on the leg that is bothering him so much. This poor little guy isn't even a year old yet and his been through so much!
Dogs like him are rare to come by, shelters can't afford to pay for surgery's such as the one's Ojo has received, and dogs like him are normally put down for health conditions like his. That was the major reason we RESCUED him.
So far we have raised a few hundred dollars for Ojo's vetting expenses, but we still need a lot more. We are grateful for all the help we have received for this sweet little guy.
But this is where YOU come in.... Without YOU and YOUR FRIENDS and YOUR FAMILY you may forward this to, we cannot help another Ojo who is waiting in limbo in a shelter, in pain, destined to be put down.
